Description

#1 New York Times bestselling author of It Starts with Us and It Ends With Us writes a free novella about the search for happily ever after.

A chance encounter in the dark leads eighteen-year-old Daniel and the girl who stumbles across him to profess their love for each other. But this love has conditions: they agree it will only last one hour and it will only be make-believe.

When their hour is up and the girl rushes off like Cinderella, Daniel tries to convince himself that what happened between them only seemed perfect because they were pretending it was perfect. Moments like that with girls like her don’t happen outside of fairytales.

One year and one bad relationship later, his disbelief in insta-love is stripped away the day he meets Six: a girl with a strange name and an even stranger personality. But Daniel soon realizes that fairytales don’t exist, and unfortunately for Daniel, finding Cinderella doesn’t guarantee their happily ever after…it only further threatens it.

Liked the writing/story line and characters a lot. Did not love the twist/surprise.

firstly the plot didn’t make sense to me ! secondly i was kinda confused what was going on in the last 3 chapters 😭 it was like the characters were saying a run on sentence full of like compliments. other than that it was good!

This was a very refreshing read amongst really stale and flat writings. Finding Cinderella is my favorite Colleen Hoover novel thus far and I have read around 10 of her books now. Usually I find her characters to be a bit flat and her tales to be a bit too Hallmark-like but with random HBO drama. This story felt more intentional. Like she sat down with some character she actually liked and felt good about. I really enjoyed the humor and exploration of sexual attraction. This was a great read.

Wanted to see how my Apple book app worked. I heard good things about the author so I downloaded a free book. I turned my audio read on and next thing I knew I was sitting on the sofa, eating snacks and reading along. The day went by and I was at “the end” I am a new fan and will be purchasing more books to come.

I didn’t realize it was a short book and was disappointed. There was a big plot line that was revealed at the end and it needed more time. It feels unfinished.

Colleen Hoover on her own is just kinda icky, and I swear every single one of her ‘books’ that she writes are mediocre pornography with watered down storyline. Booktok girlies NEVER try to suggest a book to me ever again.

ngl, disappointing. A lot of the stuff was just unrealistic and cringey. I liked some of it, but overall wouldn’t recommend. It had potential , but i just think it could’ve been better.
