Let me start off by saying that I absolutely love Julie Garwood’s books and have read quite a few of them. Gentle Warrior was my least favorite by far. It just didn’t seem to have much structure and the ending left much to be desired.

This is actually the worse Julie Garwood book I’ve ever read! There was no reason for Elizabeth to have fallen in love with Geoffrey at the time she did. Like he was completely unlovable then in my opinion. This book was long but without depth. I couldn’t fall in love with the characters, they were just all over the place. The entire book just didn’t do it for me.

The book had a good story to it but it seemed rushed and unfinished. I would have liked something that elaborated on the actual story line, but all in all it was good.

Very disappointed. This book did not rise to the standard of her previous books. The story seemed disjointed and the character development was lacking.
