Great romance novel. I love the historical novels she used to write!

It is full of romance, battles and love. There needs a follow up on this story. It was wonderful to hear from Jamie and Alec from The Bride as well.

Brenna was a ditz. Connor was a d!ck. Couldn’t root for either of them

Somewhat formulaic but always different enough to keep interest high. Strong women!

I found the first few chapters quite tedious and was ready to give up but I persevered . The last few chapters made the book worth while.

Love all Julie Garwood books! This is a great one! My favorite is Ransom!!! Suggest you read all her Historic! Haven’t read the modern day mysteries/suspense yet.

I love Julie Garwoods Scottish stories! Wonderful characters and surprising stories! Fun read.
