No kidding - this changed my entire perspective. Please, if you read no other book by AC, read this book. Daemonic is an amazing study into the psychology of a mob. And today, that’s very important for all of us to understand.
  • A must read

A liberal mob takes over the Wisconsin State House; liberal mobs "occupy" any of a hundred town squares or parks. Coulter has gone into the lion's den on many college campus venues, being shouted down, physically assaulted, and has had her life threatened. Yet, the thoroughly indoctrinated call HER the wing nut. Incredible. Keep shining the light of truth. You go, girl!
  • Demonic?

Like the mob that rebelled and created the U.S. in the first place? Ironic that she will tell us all the reasons a mob is "demonic"........in an effort to create her own group-think mob!
  • Seriously??!

Liberals follow mob mentality? Seriously? I wonder how the GOP's Tea Party would be characterized then.

I have my criticisms of Coulter, but her latest book is the field manual for erudition. She deftly reveals the forces working against freedom, democracy,& peace that can ultimately bring about the demise of our country. This time around, she is not extreme-though she stills revels in her role of chief polemicist-she is spot on.For those whining that we need to "listen to both sides" & have more tolerance for so-called "different" viewpoints, this should change your mind.It is altogether apparent that we cannot reason with the unreasonable or compromise with the incorrigible. When a society has an enemy that is so readily apparent, and poses an immediate danger to its wellbeing,it would do itself a great service to dispatch it.The way to eliminate that threat it is to counter its lies with strong arguments and resolve for realistic & necessary goals. This book somewhat accomplishes the first. If we make the mistake of "listening" to those that arcanely wish to harm us, letting the Trojan Horse into the gate,so to speak, then we are doomed to misery, irrelevance, and failure. The only "civil war" we should have is one of words. And Coulter has established herself at the front lines.

You can't argue well researched facts. If you want to check her information the sources are all there. But that's far to much work for liberals who are too engrossed in their infatuation with emotional word pictures.
  • Misleading

Anne Coulter is once again tapping on your fish tank by spreading mistrust and ill will. Ms. Coulter has a history of writing very slanted truths (when she writes truth at all). I'm VERY conservative but I dislike Coulter's misuse of truth, the American people and the constitution.
  • Certainly thought inducing

Ann Coulter uses the accepted writings of French psychologist, Gustav LeBon, to compare his observations of mob psychology to mainstream liberalism. She notes that mobs, like liberals, idolize their leaders (the 2008 election is a prime example), make frequent use of simple phrases to get their points across (hope, change, save the whales, etc.), and will completely abandon all forms of logic and reason to argue their ideas (Al Gore flies a private jet to give a speech about global warming). Ironically, Coulter states that logic and reason is not enough to sway the mob-like mentality of liberals. That saying, liberals will find this book completely worthless while true free thinkers will find it thought inducing and interesting. It is definitely one of Coulter's best.

this is precisely why America cannot even begin to move forward. this book is a DISGRACE to our nation and to iTunes. the demonic thing about this book is the author. the arguments are rambling, the flow makes no sense and there is nothing to back up anything she says. If you want to listen to someone's perverted thoughts, buy the book. I STRONGLY do not recommend this book. It is incredible to me that there is a fee for this.
