This book is a wonderful love story of the love of animals. It touched my heart. I found this book after doing some research on pigs myself. My adult daughter had gotten a farm pig to raise as a pet. It just so happened that we too live in New Hampshire. If you have the love of animals you will love this book.

Maybe written by a naturalist, but not by someone with enough reasonable detachment from her piggy. It is definitely reasonable and right for people to treat the animals they adopt and care for with kindness and respect, but this book is puffy and pink like a cartoon pig.

The Good Good Pig is a wonderfully written and poignant story that you will find hard to put down. The story is rich and the characters will feel like friends and family to you by the time you finish the book. Yes, you will laugh and cry while reading this tale and you will agree that the main character is indeed a good good pig.
