I bought this book to learn more about my son, I soon realized it was all about me. This is the first time I have ever felt like I wasn't the only person in the world who couldn't get it together. If you want to try to understand someone who has ADD, not just fix them, get this book. I don't want to be this way, I don't crave chaos, but it's attached to me even in my DNA. This book gives you a chance to look at yourself in a different light. Take off those boxing gloves and pick up a useful tool to help you get on the right track.
  • Great book, sub-par eBook.

I own this in paperback and loved the idea of having this as an eBook. Unfortunately, the table of contents only lists each chapter as “Chapter 1”, “Chapter 2”, and so on. But it doesn't list the chapter TITLES! This makes it incredibly frustrating to use the TOC. (When you actually go to the chapter itself, the complete title is listed.) Apart from that, this is a fantastic book for anybody with AD/HD. I liked it enough to buy a digital copy even though I own the paperback, which is something I have never done before. The TOC truly is beyond irritating. I do hope it gets fixed. But it's still nice to have this book always with me, searchable, and be able to highlight text (with notes). For me, these benefits outweigh the costs of the poor TOC. You'll have to decide for yourself whether that's true for you as well.
