I’ve read all the Reacher books so far, and thy e all been able to retain my attention despite the author’s sometimes excessive descriptions. This book was just terrible. The plot was poor, very little character development, and tons of boring descriptions of New York. Literally, descriptions of Reacher walking from block to block for pages on end. So boring. Painfully boring. Skip this one.

In this book, Reacher really takes care of business. Brutal and efficient.

I think this story started off real slow and had little to no action until about halfway through. The end battle was one of the more ferocious you’ll read in any book and certainly gave the book the ending it deserved
