This is my second book by Mr. Iles and I’m dumbfounded that he is not more well known. Do yourself a favor…read the book!

I very much enjoyed this book. The city of Natchez, murder, drugs, friendship, and sex, are woven into a compelling story.

A very riveting story. Twist and turns that kept interest at the max. However, while graphic sexual events are titillating and "enjoyed" by many, they really don't add much to the story, other than take up room I guess. I've read many books by authors like Zane Grey, Clive Cussler and others, who are as riveting. They have no need to be graphic sexually. Yet they get the sense across. And, I'm not a prude. It just seems to me stories can be told without being crude. Thanks for the opportunity to comment.

I really enjoyed this book. I didn't want to put it down. I looked forward to being able to pick it up again. Worth the read for sure.
