Love this author. She takes you on a journey and you can almost see the landscape and people. Great series! I’ve read a book a week which is a lot for me. A great next read after the 4th wing and Iron Flame.

From the well-developed characters, to the rich fantasy world, this book series has me hooked!

Pacing was a big issue. A lot of the same conversations. Took way to long to get to the plot.

Overall very good, a bit slow though the middle, and the monologues are getting a bit drawn out. Overall the story is pretty solid though, definitely unexpected.

A bit slow in some parts, but I do appreciate the background and lore in this book. Obsessed with the series, I just didn’t fly through this one as fast. Still amazing.

This book rambles on and on just repeating the same crap over and over again. I found myself skipping through whole chapters just to get to anything of significance.

I’ve heard so many people don’t finish this series because of this book, but you just need to push through!
