Just when I think she can’t possibly write another great book, she does it again or I find another one I haven’t enjoyed yet. Her character development is excellent and comes across fresh and crisp with no unnecessary fluff. I have no idea how one person continues to come up with such fresh ideas. Her books are always surprising. I highly recommend this book!

I greatly enjoyed reading this book! It is an excellent story to share with teens about spending time with peers who do not share the same values and beliefs. Also, the book contains many warnings that all readers can benefit from: beware of narcissists and dysfunctional relationships, be selective and only spend time with others we admire and respect, do not rush into drastic moves with partners we do not really know. I liked Kim, Tullulah, Ryan, and Sophie, but few other characters were likable or trustworthy. Scarlett and her family were damaged beyond repair and very dangerous. Just coming into contact with that family led Liam and Scarlett to murder others and immediately try to justify it! Sophie’s detective skills were exaggerated and the clues were a little far fetched, but I kept reading to see what happened. Beware: beauty is only skin deep, rich does not equate with happiness, be honest with yourself and others about your true feelings. Great lessons!
