Really liked this story

This book was so good. Usually suspense and mafia stories aren’t really my thing but I decided to give this one a chance and I’m so happy I did. From the beginning Jacob was so protective and caring about Brenna. Their story was fast paced and kept me entertained from the beginning till the end. The epilogue made it 10x better. It was so cute! Theses two were the perfect pair.

This book was a very good romance. The relationship was sweet. Not a lot of hot action though, just romantic.

This is a family of strong force who will stop at nothing to protect their own. The dedication and ties that bind them together through time will not end.

The problems had potential, but they were very compact and too easily resolved. Generally, the book was short. But that may just be below my standard for books. All in all, the plot was rushed, the problems weren’t as extended as I hoped for them to be, and also, a lot of words were repeated. It made it sound robotic. There were also a lot of words that I had to look up. You don’t have to add fancy words for the book to be good. It needs to be well understood. That’s just what I think.

I’ve never been one to flock towards mafia stories, but I’m glad I read this one. Jacob is the perfect hidden hero and makes the mafia seem so sexy. It has just the right touch of spice as well.

This book keeps you wanting more. The characters are brought to life and the connection between the main characters, have you rooting for them. It’s a must read.
