Really awful. Within 10 pages of the end of the sample, I wanted my $$ back. Made me wonder if I ought to go back to the physical bookstore and read a bit more while sitting cross-legged in the aisle before going up to the cash register.

Pretty standard recipe for Steve Berry and Cotton Malone—but enjoyed this and learning about Malta and it’s historical importance through the ages.

This book delivered what I expected. A suspenseful story line, full of history, with a blend of fiction. If you like Steve Berry’s other novels then this is a must read for you. Can’t wait for the next Cotton Malone adventure.

Ok book if you want to experience catholic history (but I don't know if it's accurate). Too many super heroes/heroines all with guns and leg chops to the bad guys. Fantastic book for young wannabe white boys. No real literature in it.

Not bed for vacation read

I rarely leave reviews unless a book is exceptional or horrible. This one falls into the latter category. Plain and simple, I was bored out of my mind. Again, I don’t say this lightly. I have always enjoyed Steve Berry’s books and looked forward to each new publication. Sadly, I will be slower to purchase the next one.

Once again, Mr. Berry has released a masterful novel filled with history and adventure. Reading this will broaden your knowledge of Christianity and spur a desire for a trip to Malta.
