I’m glad this was free, because Moody offers some timeless advice on how to fall in love with Scripture again. The one complaint I have is actually quite minor: for some reason, a few of the chapters are only 2 pages long, which occasionally throws me off. However, it’s not the first book I’ve read with chapters that short (or less, for that matter).

Helped me to understand what I’m reading in the Bible!

This is an inspiring read. Thank God for D.L. Moody, and his love for the Word of God.

Not your “structured” format of “how to” study your Bible. But, rather a light to help you embrace the Word. Thus giving you a personal tool to apply your personalized craft in sharing the Word.

This is it folks, a truly beautiful approach to “reading” and trying to understand the Bible . I found I was just mechanically reading the Bible, this book gave new methodology to actually “studying “ the good book and word of God. God bless and Amen…

Great book for young Christians that want to create consistent study habits on the word of god!

This book is very well written to help you learn how to study the bible in many varieties of ways. It is not "just do it my way" or "mine is the only way" version. D. L. Moody has shown his love for God, for God's word and following God's word and put into this book. He has given several variety of ways to study and learn and while doing so cherish and memorize God's word. "Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuse in him. Proverbs 30:5
