Ray Dalio gives the gift of his wisdom in this amazing book. I’ll definitely be re-reading this a couple times to soak it all in.

This could have easily been shortened to 1/3 of the current volume. The author repeats himself a lot. A lot of the principles are essentially identical. I was expecting more focus on investing and the principles around that. After all, the guy is a famous big shot hedge fund manager. That was barely touched on. The book started well with personal stories but it slowly disintegrated into just what seems to be a barely organized dump from his diary. I assume the author just got tired after writing page 200. Overall, not a read I would recommend. It feels like a waste of my time but I’m almost at the end and I want to get it in my library of finished books.

Took me a while, but well worth the time to finish it. It is both reflective and instinctive. You will almost have to internalise the idea meritocracy concept and radical truth wisdom behind it. You cannot just read the book, you have to feel it, live it to realise how powerful it’s meaning. Thank you Ray.
  • A must read!

I would recommend this book to anybody who is willing to look within themselves wanting to improve. Principles changed how I viewed leadership and taught me about meritocracy. The thing I love most is principles is that it challenges the way I view my own leadership and accountability. Great great book.
