Excellent! Plot was unusual and multifaceted. Characters were unique and believe able. A good mystery

I started reading this book on my IPhone. I then changed to my iPad beginning chapter 6. My iPad kept saying weird messages that there was a problem with the payment. This book was purchased Sept 30, Order #MN300052T3 and Document #160229474464. When I went back to my iPhone and started reading the book I then started getting the messages on it. I had to stop the card I had on file with Itunes for another reason but this purchase was made 15 days before I stopped the card. When I go to the purchase page it tells me my book is in the cloud. I don’t know where else to complain about this problem. I don’t want to purchase it again but I want to read the book. I’ve read all the others and have loved this series.

Another well written, fast paced Cole & Pike novel. Great story line with interesting characters. I’m always excited when I see a new Cole & Pike release. I push the button to order it and then am afraid to start reading it, knowing that in a couple of days I’ll finish the last page and then it is back to waiting anxiously for his next book.

I begin each Crais book expecting to be slightly disappointed. Surely this one won't be a great as the last. No, this one isn't as great as the last...it's better.

First time reader and was very happy with the book. Going to read another one of his books!
  • Fast-paced, but not his best

Robert Crais delivers a fast-paced, page-turner that I couldn’t put down. It was good to have Elvis and Pike back together again. But it was too short, didn’t really go all that deep, and then ending left me wanting more. I hope his next one features Pike more and is more substantial.
