Great read and I couldn’t stop reading this book till the end. Has a steampunk feel with a tough heroine who gets things done her own way. Adventure, romance, mystery all rolled into one great plot. Can’t wait to read the next book.

I got this book on a whim, read through slowly but every time I stepped into Cara Devon’s world, I really never wanted to leave. It is an amazing combination of steampunk, Romance, and Murder Mystery. The literal backstory is neat, the world is unique yet familiar. I love anything that is Egypt related and I am absolutely continuing this series as it has been an amazing ride thus far!

This story captivated me from the very start. Cara, Nate, precious and priceless artifacts... not to mention a steamy romance with a handsome Lord. Who at a mere glance, could send powerful men, to trembling.

Good read with interesting plot and characters

I started this book thinking it was just some light reading. Boy, was I wrong! This book is seemingly set in the Victorian Era, but it is reshaped in the author’s mind to be a meld of pre-modern and futuristic. It’s done in a subtle way. Then he mixes in a plot line that is full of intrigue. The main characters have a charisma that just pulls you in. I not only liked this, I wanted to be there and actually meet the characters. I’ll be looking for the other books in this series! Claudia Lopez

I loved Nefertiti’s Heart! Characters, setting, steam punk touches, mystery, this one is well crafted to satisfy the discerning reader, whether that reader likes sci-fi, mystery, or more exotic fair.

This book combines historical fiction, romance, murder mystery, and elements of steampunk into one great great story.
